Clinton A. Wagner

Following high school Mr. Wagner enlisted in the United States Navy. He served for a short time and received an honorable discharge with a medical separation. He began working in the diesel industry which was his family trade until joining the ranks of law enforcement. Since then he has been an active member in the law enforcement community for over twenty years. He brings a multitude of experience from, firearms, special weapons and tactics, to traffic crash investigation, and emergency medical medicine to name a few.
He has earned a Master’s degree in Public Safety Administration and is recognized as a leader throughout the law enforcement community. He serves as a director for the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team, S.M.A.R.T. and is currently the Deputy Chief of Police at the Flossmoor Police Department.
Mr. Wagner has worked both in the law enforcement community as well as in the private sector of traffic crash reconstruction analysis. He has qualified and testified as an expert witness in criminal trials as prosecution, Cook County Illinois, June 2011 and July 2015. He has also qualified and testified as an expert witness in a civil trial as defense, Porter County Indiana, July 2007.
He has investigated over 700 traffic crashes, reconstructed over 250 serious and fatal traffic crashes, and has testified in over 70 hearings and depositions.
Mr. Wagner is currently a member of the Illinois Tactical Officer’s Association, the Illinois Association of Technical Accident Investigators, the Emerald Society of Illinois Police Association, the German American Police Association, and serves as the President for the Flossmoor Police Pension Fund.
