Marc E. Boardman is Owner/Principal Consultant of Northwest Collision Investigation Services (NCRS) and has investigated over 2000 collisions to include those involving multiple fatalities, felonies, commercial vehicles, trains, motorcycles, pedestrians, bicycles and aircraft (34-year's-experience). He has been called to assist in the investigations of complex crime scenes, assaults, murders and other felonies. Marc provides detailed photography, scene measuring, scale CAD diagrams, 3D animations for courtroom use, and testifies as an expert witness in both District and Superior Courts. His guidance and expertise are sought after by prosecutors and other Law Enforcement agencies. Marc has instructed at WATAI, the Washington State Patrol Academy, and various police agencies in the field of collision investigation at the advanced, technical, and reconstruction level. Topics taught include Formula Derivations, Occupant Kinematics, Conservation of Linear Momentum, and Laws of Physics.
Marc provides law firms and insurance companies with comprehensive analysis of collisions as to speeds, time and distances of parties involved, and causal factors. He is a recognized expert witness and has served in that capacity in various courts in Washington and Oregon, and in numerous depositions.
Marc served 28 years as a Washington State Patrol Investigator, was a Certified Collision Technician for 23 years with the WSP and has now been a Collision Reconstructionist for 34 years. He is an accredited member of ACTAR and a member of the Washington Association of Traffic Accident Investigators (WATAI).
