I have been in law enforcement for over 24 years and have been assigned to various stations and investigative units. I have been assigned to the Traffic Company's Major Accident Investigation Team, both as an Officer for 2 years and now as a Sergeant for over 12 years. I have attended hundreds of hours in collision investigation, collision reconstruction, boating collision investigation, and auto vs pedestrian courses. I have 5 years of EDR download and reconstruction experience. I have had extensive training and experience in forensically mapping hundreds of collision scenes, crime scenes, vehicles, vessels, and buildings indoors and out with total stations and laser scanners. I have been a member of the California Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (CA2RS) since 2011 and NAPARS starting in 2023. I have testified in criminal court as an expert in collision reconstruction and the use of a total station and laser scanner. I have also testified in federal court for the use of a total station.
