Mr. Weimer has been applying his engineering education to forensic science and the specialty of automobile accident reconstruction for more than 10 years. Zach has reconstructed more than 700 motor vehicle crashes across the United States and testified as an expert witness regarding his accident reconstruction analysis and opinions in multiple states. Zach has expertise in reconstructing various types of motor vehicle accidents including: Low Speed, High Speed, Rollover, Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, Bicycle, Pedestrian. Zach is a certified Bosch Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Technician, Analyst and System Operator and downloads event data recorder information as part of his accident investigations. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) and a Board Certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering with the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE). Zach has presented regarding low-speed rear-end collision reconstruction analysis methods at the NAFE summer conference and is an invited peer-reviewer for the NAFE Journal.
