A Las Vegas native, Michael attended Northwest Career and Technical Academy and graduated with an Advanced Honors diploma with a focus in Engineering & Design. He went on to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where, in 2019, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. For his senior design project at UNLV, Michael leveraged his unique background with robotics and programming to design and fabricate a crash sled to simulate minor impacts without the need to destroy donor vehicles.
Thanks to his work at Aperture, Michael found interest in biomechanics and joined the Biomedical Engineering Department at Wayne State University in 2023. Michael looks forward to working with the department’s well respected injury biomechanics research facilities. He anticipates graduating with a Master's of Science in Biomedical Engineering, under the Injury Biomechanics Track, in 2025.
