Nicholas M. Prior to joining Collision Analytics full-time, Nicholas served for nearly 20 years with the Boone County Sheriff's Office, retiring as a Sergeant in 2026. During his career, he investigated serious injury and fatal motor vehicle collisions and supervised the agency's crash investigation team. He has completed more than 1,000 hours of specialized crash investigation and reconstruction training and has been an Illinois Certified Crash Reconstruction Specialist since 2009.
Additionally, Nicholas is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety, where he teaches crash investigation, crash reconstruction, crash data retrieval, vehicle dynamics, and heavy-vehicle forensic inspection.
