Scott Swinford

A native of Chicago, Scott C. Swinford was raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Cimarron-Memorial High School as valedictorian in 2008. Mr. Swinford then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree In Cursu Honorum in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2012. Mr. Swinford also acquired minors in Mathematics, Renewable Energy, and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Swinford has been with American Bio Engineers since 2011, and during that time, he has attended several accident reconstruction conferences, completed courses in Human Factors and Crash Data Retrieval, and participated in several instrumented crash tests. He is also a proficient user of the FARO 3D Laser Scanner and software such as Engineering Dynamics Corporation’s Human Vehicle Environment (HVE), EOS Systems Inc.’s Photomodeler, and Autodesk’s AutoCAD. Mr. Swinford is currently a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Southwest Association of Technical Accident Investigators, the Order of the Engineer, and is a certified Engineer Intern by the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
