Mr. Peck holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from California State University in Fresno. He is also a fully accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionists (ACTAR).
Mr. Peck has been qualified as an expert witness in multiple states and has published several technical papers including “Glancing and Stopping Behavior of Motorcyclists and Car Drivers at Intersection,” which became a Transportation Research Record in 2011. Mr. Peck has presented at national and international reconstruction conferences on the topic of motorcycle inspection, motorcycle sliding behavior, motorcyclist response behavior, and automotive damage analysis.
He is a retired motorcycle racer, having held an Expert License in the Champion Cup Series. Mr. Peck is also a trained collision photogrammetrist and consults on that topic to other reconstructionists around the country.
