I am originally from Ohio. A United States Navy veteran and current law enforcement officer since 2006. I have been working in and with the traffic unit of my department since 2015 and began high profile collision investigations during that time. I was originally an officer in the traffic unit am now a supervisor in the unit.
In 2022 I began David Curtis Collision Consulting, LLC. We work with attorneys, insurance companies, private persons, and other agencies as requested for EDR downloads, desktop review reports, reconstructions or limited consultation. I have testified in court as an expert in multiple matters including collision investigation and reconstruction, drug recognition, driving under the influence, and field sobriety tests.
