I have been a member of the Midwest Association of Technical Accident Investigators since its inception in the late 1980's, holding positions on the board of directors, and president of the organization. I have been ACTAR accredited since the early 1990's and now serving on the ACTAR board of directors since 2020. I led the Linn County Sheriff's office accident investigation team for many years. After retirement I have chosen limit private accident investigation work to a few cases.
