I am currently employed by J. S. Held LLC as a Senior Technician. I was previously employed as a Police Officer from October 1999 to May 2024. I spent 8 years in a patrol capacity. Since August 2008, I have been assigned to the fatal crash team as an investigator.

During my time as a police officer, I have attended over 1200 hours of specialized collision investigation training. I have been previously trained and certified as a Drug Recognition Expert.

I am also a trained Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration "Level 1" commercial vehicle inspector. In addition to this, I have been trained in hazardous material inspections, "Other bulk packaging" inspections, cargo tank inspections, weight enforcement, and passenger vehicle/bus inspections.

I am also trained a police motorcycle officer/instructor. My duties have included training and basic maintenance.

I have been recognized by both District and Circuit Courts in Anne Arundel County, Maryland for the following "Expert" qualifications:
