Mark Leonard has worked in the accident reconstruction field since 1989. He specializes in the investigation, analysis, and reconstruction of motor vehicle accident, trailer design, and testing.
Mr. Leonard has performed accident reconstructions and analyses on hundreds of cases involving passenger vehicles, combination vehicles, commercial combination vehicles, pedestrian accidents, motorcycle accidents, and rollovers of passenger and commercial vehicles and has testified as an expert witness in state and federal courts throughout the United States in these areas. He is familiar with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Society of Automotive Engineers Standards, and the testing required to evaluate compliance with those standards.
Mr. Leonard also has experience in a wide variety of vehicle and component testing, including vehicle crash, rollover, and sled testing, automotive component, FMVSS testing, combination vehicle testing, hitch systems, trailer and trailer design, vehicle and trailer braking, and user instructions.
