Mr. Strauss has over 20 combined years in Law Enforcement. He started out in 1998 when he joined the US Air Force and became a Law Enforcement trained Security Forces Member. He left the Air Force in 2003 and joined the Norman Police Department where he has been assigned to the Operations Bureau since. In 2006 he was assigned to the department's Collision Investigation Reconstruction Team (CIRT). In 2007 he was also assigned to the department's Technical Investigator (TI) Team. Mr. Strauss continues to be an important part of both specialty teams. In 2016 he became a Full Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionists. In 2017 he was certified as a Crime Scene Analyst by the International Associations for Identification.
