I've worked as a Crash Reconstructionist since 2015 with an emphasis on Commercial Vehicles, having received my training and education through Michigan State University and the University of North Florida's IPTM. I also hold the Certified Vehicle System Forensic Technician (CVST) and Certified Vehicle System Forensic Examiner (CVSE) certifications from the Berla Corporation, allowing me to utilize the iVe suite to perform forensic data acquisitions on vehicle infotainment and telematics systems. Additionally, I can perform data acquisitions on passenger vehicle Electronic Data Recorders (EDR's) as well as commercial vehicle Engine Control Modules (ECM's) and the Bendix and Wabco anti-lock brake modules.
I hold an active Class A Commercial Driver's License and have operated tractor trailers professionally. I'm also a certified CDL Instructor in the State of Michigan.
I actively participate in crash conferences, assisting in instrumenting and remotely operating crash vehicles as well as post-test documentation. I've been invited to speak at numerous conferences as well on a variety of topics.
I've been accepted as a Crash Reconstructionist in court and have testified numerous times in depositions.
