John L. Straubinger

Mr. Straubinger graduated Cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a B.S.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has investigated mechanical failures and accidents involving passenger vehicles, commercial tractor/trailers, industrial equipment, fork lifts, plumbing, appliances, and consumer products. He is experienced in the collection and analysis of Event Data Recorder (EDR) information from equipped vehicles and its use for accident reconstruction.

Mr. Straubinger has knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle mechanics including areas of suspension design, brakes, off-road modifications, vehicle dynamics, and high performance driving. He has performed service on vehicle engines, suspensions, brakes, body work, electronics, and ignition systems.
